Kennesaw State lacrosse standout Siena Gore was named to the ASUN Conference's spring Winners for Life Team this week.
The team is composed of one student-athlete from each of the 12 ASUN institutions and honors those who display excellence on the field, in the classroom and in the community.
Gore, a midfielder from Alpharetta, wrapped up her five-year career at Kennesaw State by becoming the first player in ASUN history to reach 100 points in a season, totaling 80 goals and 20 assists. She also became the first two-time ASUN Player of the Year and was also named ASUN Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Gore was selected to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association's all-region second team, and she was named an Inside Lacrosse honorable mention All-American, becoming the first Owl to earn All-American status.
Gore graduated in May with her master’s degree in systems engineering, after receiving her bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering technology in just three years. Gore held a perfect 4.0 grade-point average through all of her undergraduate and graduate studies.
