Members of the city South Fulton Fire Rescue Department and the state of Georgia Fire Marshal’s Office are on the lookout for the culprit responsible for setting three fires in close proximity in the 5600 block of Mason Road in the city of South Fulton on June 30.
City of South Fulton Firefighters worked that night and into the early morning to extinguish all three fires before the flames spread into the woods and nearby homes and buildings.
According to Fox 5 Atlanta, one firefighter had to go to the hospital for evaluation while battling the abandoned-building fires.
City of South Fulton Fire officials are asking anyone who has any information regarding these intentionally set fires to contact Georgia Arson Control at 1-800-282-5804.
A reward of up to $10,000 could be awarded for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for arson.
No specific or detailed information is available at this time as investigators follow up on information received during the initial investigative process.
