Stockyard Burgers and Bones in east Cobb has closed its doors for good, the restaurant announced on its Facebook page Friday. Stockyard thanked the community and explained its reasons for shuttering.
“It has been an extremely challenging time for restaurants over the last couple years. Unfortunately, we were never able to recover from the effects of the pandemic, continuous cost increases and labor shortages at this location,” the post said.
The Stockyard closure at Avenue East Cobb comes just days after Cobb commissioners approved a comprehensive redesign plan for the Roswell Road shopping center last month.
While its East Cobb location has closed, Stockyard in its message encouraged people to visit the restaurant’s original location in Marietta Square and another in Vinings, both of which remain open for business.
